Player Trade

Blue Jackets land Dzingel before trade deadline day February 25, 2019

Ryan Dzingel was traded by the Ottawa Senators to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. It will be a homecoming of sorts for the 26-year-old winger, who played 3 years of college hockey in Columbus with Ohio State University. Dzingel, who is in the midst of a career-year, is excited at the prospect of helping the Blue Jackets fight for a playoff berth. In 57 games this season, the native of Wheaton, Illinois has already registered new career-highs in points (44) and assists (22).
