Lehner’s new approach has him reaching new heights March 01, 2019

Robin Lehner is in the midst of his best season in the NHL, and much of it can be attributed to his new approach between the pipes. The 27-year-old netminder credits the new Islanders’ goaltending staff for his improvement, giving him the tools to understand angles and positioning, helping him better square up shooters. The native of   Gothenburg, Sweden is well on his way to a new career-high in wins, despite making just 36 starts this season.  He currently holds a record 20-10-5, while leading the entire NHL in both goals-against average (2.07), and save percentage (.931).
