Sanheim and Flyers come to terms on new contract June 26, 2019

Travis Sanheim and the Philadelphia Flyers agreed on a new, two-year contract extension worth $3.25m annually earlier this week. Drafted 17th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Elkhorn, Manitoba-native has been progressing nicely in the Flyers system. The talented defenseman had a breakout season in 2018-19, tallying a career-high 35 points (9 goals, 26 assists) while playing in all 82 games.
