NHL Draft
Thomson gives the Senators a boost on defence June 28, 2019
Lassi Thomson was selected 19th overall by the Ottawa Senators last week, at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The native of Tampere, Finland had an excellent first season in North America, tallying 41 points with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL. He led all rookie defensemen in both goals and assists, and his 17 goals ranked him 4th among all defensemen.
