Griffin Reinhart vying for opening day roster spot September 27, 2013

Despite the fact that he was drafted just a little over a year ago, highly touted defenseman Griffin Reinhart is trying hard to make the New York Islanders squad this season. The 4^th overall pick in 2012, Reinhart will be challenged by the reality that defensemen prospects are usually brought along a bit slower than forwards.  However, that has not discouraged the promising rearguard, who has worked hard in training camp to make his mark with the club.
