Rookie forward explodes onto the scene with 4-goal night October 09, 2013

It did not take long for Tomas Hertl to make a name for himself.  Drafted 17^th overall in the 2012 draft by the San Jose Sharks, the Czech-born winger scored an incredible 4 goals last night, including a highlight-reel 4^th that put an exclamation mark on San Jose’s 9-2 trouncing of the New York Rangers.  The performance made him the 4th youngest player ever to score four goals in a game, and elevated his status to social media king after the contest.
