Bedard, Del Mastro, McTavish, Othmann, Sebrango win Gold at World Juniors August 21, 2022 - Sportsnet

Team Canada defeated Team Finland last night to claim Gold at the 2022 World Junior Championship. Tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, the contest went to overtime, leading to a thrilling finish to the under-20 men’s tournament. Team Canada captain, Mason McTavish, was named tournament MVP, after making an incredible game saving play in overtime to keep Team Canada’s hopes alive.  

Congratulations to Connor Bedard, Ethan Del Mastro, Mason McTavish, Brennan Othmann and Donovan Sebrango on winning Gold - and to all of our clients and their families who represented their countries over the past two weeks.

The annual tournament is set to return to its usual timeframe in 2023, beginning on Boxing Day and wrapping up the first week of January.
