Highly touted prospect Tyler Benson to make WHL debut October 29, 2013

Drafted first overall in the 2013 WHL bantam draft, 15-year-old Tyler Benson is looking forward to participating in his first ever WHL game, on November 16^th. Benson currently plays for prep team POE U18 (Pursuit of Excellence under-18) in two different leagues, the NAPHL (North American Prospects Hockey League)and the CSSHL (Canadian Sport School Hockey League). The youngster is averaging nearly two points a game in both leagues, 15 points in 8 games in the NAPHL, and 19 points in 10 games in the CSSHL.
