BEDARD SETS 5 RECORDS, SCORES OVERTIME WINNER TO LEAD CANADA TO SEMIS January 02, 2023 - Sportsnet

Connor Bedard etched his name in the U20 record books last night, scoring twice, including the overtime winner to help propel Team Canada to the semi-finals of the 2023 World Juniors Championship.   

In the process of helping lead Canada to victory, Bedard broke the following WJC records along the way; Most World Juniors points by a Canadian, Most World Juniors goals by a Canadian, Most points at a single World Juniors by a Canadian, Most assists at a single World Juniors by a Canadian and Most points at a single World Juniors by a U18 player.
