DeKeyser making all the right moves in rookie season October 31, 2013

Born and bred in Macomb, Michigan, hometown boy Danny DeKeyser has impressed in his first full season in a Detroit Red Wings uniform. The rangy D-man has been a consistent performer thus far this year, and coach Mike Babcock has had no problems relying on the 23-year-old to log heavy minutes. Subbing in for Jonathan Erikson on that top pairing last night, DeKeyser played nearly half the game (26:42 of ice time) and was equally productive, assisting on the winning goal late in the third period.
