RYAN O’REILLY BECOMES CANADA’S ALL-TIME GAMES LEADER AT WORLDS May 19, 2025 - Hockeycanada.ca

Ryan O’Reilly will play his 62nd game at the IIHF World Championship today, surpassing Ryan Smyth for the most games played by a Canadian in the tournament’s history. The 34-year-old made his first appearance at the event in 2012 and has since recorded 18 goals and 42 points. O’Reilly has represented Canada in multiple international tournaments, including seven editions of the Men’s Worlds.
