SEAN MONAHAN WINS MASTERTON TROPHY June 05, 2025 - NHL.com
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Monahan was awarded the 2024 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey. He dedicated the season to his late best friend and former teammate Johnny Gaudreau. Reflecting on the moment, Monahan said, “John knows I don't like the spotlight or attention, so I feel like he's probably watching down on that moment and laughing at me.”
