Mark Scheifele made franchise history on Saturday night, becoming the Winnipeg Jets all-time points leader with 813 after recording a goal in the win. The milestone surpasses former captain Blake Wheeler’s mark and further cements Scheifele’s legacy as one of the faces of the franchise. “It’s pretty special. I’ve grown up with this team, this city, and to be part of its history means a lot,” Scheifele said after the game. Teammate Josh Morrissey added, “Nobody works harder or cares more about winning than Scheif. Seeing him reach this milestone is something we’re all proud of.”
