Florida Panthers defenseman Jeff Petry reached a major career milestone, skating in his 1,000th National Hockey League game against the Vancouver Canucks at Amerant Bank Arena.

Petry became the 409th skater in NHL history to appear in 1,000 regular season games, marking the achievement in his 16th NHL season. Over his career, he has played for the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings, and Florida Panthers.

The Panthers recognized Petry’s milestone with a pregame ceremony, honoring his longevity and consistency at the NHL level.
