Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin has been named a finalist for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the NHL player who best exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey. Dahlin joins Gabriel Landeskog and Jonathan Toews as the league’s three finalists after helping lead Buffalo to its first playoff berth since 2011.

Despite facing significant personal adversity away from the ice, Dahlin recorded a career-high 74 points this season while continuing to serve as a leader for the Sabres on and off the ice.
