After a slow start, the U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team exploded for 6 goals in the second period, en route to an easy, 7-1 win over the Slovakian squad. Phil Kessel led the American attack with a goal and two assists, while David Backes also contributed with a goal and two shots on net.
