Kessel’s hat trick guides USA into the quarterfinals February 17, 2014

Phil Kessel was a one-man wrecking crew, Sunday, as the Americans defeated the Slovenians, 5-1. The product of Madison, Wisconsin scored the first three goals of the contest, making him the first U.S. Olympian since 2002 to record a hat trick.  His standout performance vaulted him up to 1^st overall in the Olympic hockey scoring lead, with an impressive seven points in three games.
