O’Reilly named first star in Avs victory March 03, 2014

5^th year center Ryan O’Reilly tallied a goal and an assist in the Colorado Avalanche’s 6-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.  It has been a breakout year for O’Reilly in the goal-scoring department, currently 5 ahead of his best total of 18 in the 2011-12 season, with 23 games left to play. The 2009 2^nd rounder has been on a tear in his last three games, posting 2 goals and 3 assists in that span.
