Lundqvist, Rangers shut out the Wings 3-0 March 10, 2014
Henrik Lundqvist claimed first star honours in the New York Rangers win over the Detroit Red Wings, Sunday, after stopping all 30 shots he faced. It was the 32-year-old’s 300th career victory and 49th shutout, tying him for 1st overall in that department. With last night’s win, the native of Are, Sweden is now just one victory away from top spot all-time in wins by a goaltender in a Rangers uniform.
