Legwand signs on with the Senators July 07, 2014
The Ottawa Senators brought in some much needed scoring and leadership on Friday, signing David Legwand to a two-year, $6 million deal. The 33-year-old centerman put up 51 points last year (14 goals, 31 assists) splitting time between the Nashville Predators and the Detroit Red Wings. Legwand has played over 900 NHL games and will look to add veteran stability at the center position.
