Reinhart looking to cease opportunity at Islanders training camp July 16, 2014
After guiding the Edmonton Oil Kings to a Memorial Cup victory this past May, Griffin Reinhart now has his eyes set on locking up a roster spot with the New York Islanders this September. The 4th overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft had a stellar year in the WHL, registering 34 points and a +31 rating in 66 games (regular season and playoffs combined). He was a rock for the Oil Kings squad all year long, consistently logging the most minutes per game. He has been working hard all summer on his skating and decision-making skills, and now feels he is ready for the big show.
