Dumba looking to build off of strong WHL season July 24, 2014

After getting a taste of the NHL last season with Minnesota, Matt Dumba is motivated to get back there on a full-time basis in 2014-15.  After his 13-game trial with the Wild ended, the 19-year-old went back to the WHL with a sense of purpose. After being traded to the Portland Winterhawks, he would help guide them to a 25-1-0 record down the stretch. In the playoffs he would continue to excel, leading all D-men in goals with 8,  and finishing 2nd in points with 18 in 21 games.
