Schwartz to honor sister with number change July 30, 2014

St. Louis Blues rising star has worn the No. 8 jersey for most of his life, but he will switch it to #17 this year, in remembrance of his late sister Mandi, who died in 2011 after a battle with cancer. His sister had also been an up-and-coming hockey star, playing for Yale University in the NCAA.  Jaden will now don her No. 17, as a way of paying homage and respect to the person that meant so much to him.
