Penguins sign Spaling to 2-year contract August 01, 2014
After coming over in a trade with fellow Nashville Predator Patric Hornqvist, Nick Spaling signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins yesterday, worth $4.4 million. The 25-year-old center had a breakout year in 2013-14, setting career highs in every major offensive category. He finished the season with 13 goals and 19 assists.
