Ritchie gets crash course in the business side of hockey September 03, 2014

Brett Ritchie was one of 33 players invited to the NHLPA Rookie Showcase in late August this year, a two-day event that, amongst other things, taught players how to work with the media. It has been a whirlwind last 12 months for the 21-year-old rising star, who is looking to crack the Dallas Stars’ squad this fall. Playing in his first professional season in 2013-14, the 2011 2nd rounder had an excellent campaign, scoring 22 goals and 26 assists in 68 games.  It was capped off by a Calder Cup triumph with Texas, where he scored 7 goals in just 11 contests.
