Pouliot in line for NHL debut in 2014-15 September 19, 2014

Despite not yet having a played a single game in the NHL, top prospect Derrick Pouliot is already in the good graces of coach Mike Johnston, having played for him for four years in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks. Pouliot, who is ranked No. 17 on NHL.com’s Top 60 prospect list, is currently recovering from a successful shoulder surgery in May.  In 58 games last season, the offensive D-man put up 17 goals and 53 assists.
