Nyquist becoming an NHL star September 23, 2014

After bursting onto the scene in 2013-14 with the Detroit Red Wings, 25-year-old Gustav Nyquist is looking forward to the challenges of being a marked man this year. With the Red Wings struggling with numerous injuries last season, the Swedish dynamo took charge of the offense, scoring an incredible 28 goals in 57 games.  Though opposing defenses may not afford him the same liberties this season, Nyquist has proven to himself and his teammates that he has the skills and mental toughness to be a real star in the league.
