Dumba finishes preseason on a high note October 06, 2014

Matthew Dumba has made a strong case for himself to stay up with the Minnesota Wild this season, after showcasing his excellent offensive skills in preseason this fall. The 20-year-old defenseman has a dynamic skillset that the Wild’s defense lacks, and he may just have proved his indispensability with five points (a goal and four assists) in five exhibition games.  He saved his best performance for last on Saturday night, scoring a goal and adding an assist in a 5-4 Wild victory.
