Konecny named 67’s captain October 10, 2014
17-year-old phenom Travis Konecny was named the new Ottawa 67’s captain yesterday, a year removed from leading the team in both assists (44) and points (70). It is the second time this year that the Clachan, Ontario-native has donned the “C” for his respective squad. In August, he captained Team Canada to a gold medal in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
