Stamkos ready to put Lightning on his back this season October 14, 2014

Steven Stamkos enters the 2014-15 campaign with his mind set on one thing: getting back to dominating on the ice. He appeared to be in midseason form last night, scoring a hat trick in Tampa Bay’s commanding 7-1 win over fellow rivals the Montreal Canadiens. The 24-year-old was a force to be reckoned with all night long, taking a game-high 12 shots on net.  The performance illustrates Stamkos’ commitment to excellence and perseverance. 11 months removed from a severe leg injury, the Markham, Ontario-native is living proof that hard work really does pay off.
