Malcolm Subban named player of the week April 17, 2013

Boston Bruins 2012 first round draft pick Malcolm Subban came up big last week, posting back-to-back shutouts in the OHL Eastern Conference Semifinals.  The Rexdale, Ontario native stopped all 55 shots thrown his way, in leading the Belleville Bulls to victories in game three and four of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and subsequent elimination of the Sudbury Wolves.  With this electrifying performance, Subban earned the OHL Playoff Player of the Week honours, registering an impeccable goals against average of 0.00.

Subban has had a hot hand in the playoffs throughout, posting a record of 8-2. He currently leads all OHL goaltenders in goals against average (1.31), save percentage  (.951) as well as shutouts (3).
