Girardi helps guide Rangers to victory November 06, 2014

Dan Girardi assisted on the winning goal in overtime as the New York Rangers defeated the Detroit Red Wings by the score of 4-3.  It was the 3rd straight game in a row that the 30-year-old defenseman logged more than 30 minutes of ice time. In last Saturday’s shootout loss to the Jets, he logged a career-high 34:50. He currently leads the Rangers in ice-time (26:25) and blocked shots (35), and is 2nd in hits (32).
