Lundqvist named 3rd star of the week December 15, 2014
Henrik Lundqvist capped a terrific week of work last night, backstopping the New York Rangers to a 2-0, shutout victory over the Edmonton Oilers. In the process, the Swedish goaltender earned the third star of the week, after going 3-0 with a .951 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.30. The shutout was also the 55th of his career, which puts him into sole possession of 20th all-time.
