Reinhart leads Team Canada to WJC gold January 06, 2015

Sam Reinhart scored the game-winning goal last night, as Canada held on for a 5-4 win against Russia in the WJC gold medal finale. Drafted 2^nd overall in in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, The Team Canada assistant captain was eventually named to the all-tournament team, due to his excellent work at both ends of the rink. The two-way centerman was heavily relied upon in the faceoff circle in key situations, especially in the last minutes against Russia, where he took three defensive zone faceoffs.  Offensively, Reinhart finished tied for 1^st in both goals (5) and points (11) in 7 games played.
