Strome primed for a long and successful NHL career April 21, 2015
After a strong sophomore season saw his point totals rocket from 39 in 2013-14 to 129 this year, Dylan Strome solidified his spot as a consensus top-5 pick in the upcoming 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Mississauga-native has impressed hockey analysts and coaches with his elite-level vision on the ice, as well as an NHL-ready frame (6’3, 185 lbs), and top-class wrist shot.
It has been a year of accolades for the 17-year-old phenom. After claiming the OHL scoring title on the final day of the season, Strome was awarded the William Hanley Trophy on Tuesday, handed out to the OHL’s most sportsmanlike player.
