Desrosiers comes up big in Rimouski’s President Cup triumph May 19, 2015
Philippe Desrosiers helped Rimouski clinch the last spot for the upcoming Memorial Cup last night, as he guided his squad to a double overtime, 2-1 win over the Québec Remparts. The 19-year-old goaltender was solid between the pipes, steering aside 47 of the 48 shots he faced, including 11 saves in overtime. The native of St. Hyacinthe, Québec is coming off an excellent season that saw him post a record of 29-9-3, and a career-best GAA (goals against average) of 2.50.
