McCarron highlights a group turning pro in 2015 June 18, 2015

With the St. John’s IceCaps preparing for their inaugural season in the AHL as the Montréal Canadiens affiliate, Michael McCarron is poised to make a big splash in his pro debut. A behemoth at 6’6 225 lbs, the 19-year-old center was a breakout performer in 2014-15, doubling his point totals from 34 in 2013-14 to 68 with London and Oshawa this year. He continued to shine in the postseason, registering 18 points in 21 games in the OHL Playoffs, and 3 points in 4 games in the Memorial Cup.
