Oduya ready to make Dallas a winner July 27, 2015
After signing a two-year, $7.5 million deal in July with the Dallas Stars, Johnny Oduya is looking forward to helping out his new club any way he can in 2015-16. The 33-year-old NHL veteran is a stay-at-home D-man known for his physicality and work on the penalty kill. In 2014-15, Oduya was third on the Blackhawks in blocked shots (123) and added 65 more in the playoffs. The Swedish-born defenseman was heavily relied upon in Chicago’s Stanley Cup run, logging well over 24 minutes per game.
