Legwand adds veteran leadership to Sabres August 03, 2015
With the Buffalo Sabres stockpiling their roster with a plethora of young up-and-coming stars, David Legwand will bring a wealth of experience to the squad. Drafted 2nd overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, The 34-year-old will enter his 17th season having played an impressive 1057 games. Legwand has played a variety of positions and roles over his career, and his solid two-way game should set a good example for the young Sabres’ forwards in 2015-16.
