Benson scores big goal in Ivan Hlinka Memorial finale August 17, 2015

Tyler Benson scored the eventual game-winning goal in Canada’s 7-3 win over Sweden on Saturday, in the gold medal finale of the Ivan Hlinka Memorial presented in Breclav, Czech Republic. The Edmonton, Alberta-native finished the tournament with a team-leading six points (2 goals, 4 assists). The young center was impressive in his first full season with Vancouver Giants last year, registering 45 points in 62 games as a 16-year-old.
