Lundqvist excited to compete for Stanley Cup and World Cup glory September 09, 2015

Henrik Lundqvist is looking forward to the prospect of representing his country in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. A gold medalist at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin with Sweden, the 33-year-old does not know how the two tournaments will compare, but that playing for your country is always special, no matter what. 

The superstar goaltender has been a major reason why the New York Rangers have risen to prominence in recent times. The club has reached the Eastern Conference in back-to-back years, and took the Los Angeles Kings to five games in the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals.
