Subban goes above and beyond to help those in need September 16, 2015
Habs defenseman P.K. Subban donated $10 million to the Montréal Children’s Hospital today, in what is being referred to as “the biggest philanthropic commitment by a sports figure in Canadian history.” Not only will the young superstar donate the money over a seven-year period, but he has also made the commitment to help raise funds for the hospital in that time frame. The donation coincides with the creation of P.K.’s Helping Hand, a fund dedicated to raising money for families who have children with debilitating illnesses.
