Konecny and Sanheim impressing in CHL February 25, 2016
Travis Konecny and Travis Sanheim have been standout players for their respective Junior squads this season, each contributing greatly to their team’s success. Since being traded to the Sarnia Sting, Konecny has racked up 38 points in 22 games, and is currently ranked 7th in the OHL in points with 84. The 18-year-old center is currently riding a 13-game point streak that has seen him tally nine goals and 14 assists. Sanheim meanwhile is in the midst of putting together his best offensive season to date. The 6’4 defenseman has registered 52 points (10 goals, 42 assists) in just 41 games this year.
