Reinhart shined in rookie season June 03, 2016

Sam Reinhart excelled in his first full season with the Buffalo Sabres, finishing the year tied for 8^th in rookie scoring with 42 points, and 3^rd in goals with 23. The 20-year-old North Vancouver-native was a mainstay at the center position for the Sabres all season long, averaging nearly 17 minutes a game.

The highlight of Reinhart’s season occurred on January 10^th when he recorded his first career hat trick. It was the first 3-goal performance by a Buffalo Sabres rookie since Jason Pominville achieved the feat in 2006.
