Jason Dickinson turning heads in AHL June 06, 2016
Jason Dickinson shined in his first year of professional hockey, tallying an impressive 53 points (22 goals, 31 assists) with the Texas Stars of the AHL. Drafted 29th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars, The 20-year-old native of Georgetown, Ontario is a big-bodied forward (6’2 200 lbs) with elite skating ability.
The highlight of his 2015-16 campaign occurred on April 7th, when he was called up by the Stars for a late season game. He made the most of the opportunity, scoring in his NHL debut in a 4-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.
