McNeill progressing well in the AHL June 09, 2016
Mark McNeill will have his best shot to date at locking down a permanent role with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2016-17, as the team looks to develop its in-house talent. Drafted 18th overall in 2011, the 23-year-old center has been a consistent performer over the last three seasons with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, increasing his goal and point tally in each year. In 64 games last season, the Edmonton, Alberta-native registered 48 points (25 goals, 23 assists).
