Subban more determined than ever to make breakthrough July 14, 2016
Malcolm Subban is back on track to compete for a spot on the Boston Bruins roster in 2016-17, after dealing with a throat injury that cut his last season short. Drafted 24th overall in 2012, the Providence Bruins’ netminder was playing some of his best hockey prior to the injury, registering a 1.84 GAA and .935 save percentage in January. He eventually would finish the year with a very respectable 2.46 GAA, and a record of 14-8.
