Schwartz, Blues agree to five-year-deal July 18, 2016

Left wing standout Jaden Schwartz inked a five-year, $26.75 million contract with the St. Louis Blues this past Friday. Since making his NHL debut with the Blues in the 2011-12 season, the product of Wilcox, Saskatchewan has steadily become one of the team’s top scorers. He had his breakthrough campaign in 2013-14 where he tallied 56 points (25 goals, 31 assists), and is coming off a fantastic 2016 Playoffs run that saw him set career highs in every offensive category including goals (4), assists (10) and points (14).
