Stone rewarded with new contract August 03, 2016
Michael Stone re-signed with the Arizona Coyotes on a 1-year, $4 million contract last week. The 26-year-old defenseman is coming off one of his most productive season in the NHL, where he set career-highs in assists (30), points (36) and shots on goal (161). The product of Winnipeg, Manitoba was also one of the most trusted players on the Coyotes squad in 2015-16, averaging the second most TOI/G at 22:28.
