Abdelkader key to Detroit’s success August 17, 2016

Going into the 2016-17 season, if there is one thing the Detroit Red Wings can count on it is Justin Abdelkader’s net presence on a game in, game out basis. The newly re-signed forward does a little bit of everything for the Red Wings, providing the club with a high level of intensity and grittiness, while also contributing on the offensive end.  In 2015-16, the Muskegon-native tallied 19 goals and 23 assists and registered a career-high,155 shots on net.
